PRODUCTION PLANNER (Manufacturing)

We are looking for a Production Planner for a precision machining company serving the Oil & Gas industry to keep schedules realistic and deliveries on time.

Responsibilities

• Know workflows between our ERP, MES and scheduling systems.
• Build schedules that balance resource availability, constraints and customer due dates.
• Refine plans to lift efficiency and protect delivery commitments.
• Spot bottlenecks early and clear them.
• Compare planned against actual output, adjusting plans when conditions change.
• Reserve machine capacity based on sales forecasts.
• Liaise with other departments to keep execution smooth and resolve issues.
• Host weekly review meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare capacity and on-time delivery reports.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Competence in reading BOMs and engineering drawings.
• Sound grasp of process operation sequences.
• Clear verbal and written communication, backed by good interpersonal skills.
• Composure under pressure and a sense of urgency.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office.
