Conduct laboratory trials and experiments, applying hands-on techniques to advance formulation and product development.

Utilize paint formulation calculations to ensure precision and accuracy in the development of new formulations.

Maintain meticulous documentation and reporting of research results, experimental processes, and formulation details.

Participate in departmental meetings to present progress, share insights, and collaborate effectively with team members.

Perform routine quality testing on paint products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Apply paint in real-world conditions to assess its performance and durability.

Test raw materials to evaluate their quality and suitability for inclusion in paint formulations.

Develop new color formulations through experimental trials to enhance and diversify the product range.

Conduct comparative analyses of competitors' products as directed by the line manager.

Requirements – R&D Chemist Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or a related field .

3–6 years of experience in R&D, preferably within the Paints or Coatings Industry .

Hands-on experience in paint formulation, laboratory trials, and product development .

Good knowledge of raw materials used in paint formulations and their properties.

Experience in color formulation, matching, and development .

Knowledge of quality testing and paint performance evaluation .

Ability to perform formulation calculations and analyze laboratory results .

Good skills in documentation, reporting, and data analysis .

Good understanding of paint application methods and product performance testing .

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good command of MS Office , especially Excel.

Paints/Coatings industry experience is highly preferred.
