MACHINIST

• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other precision equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality control.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve manufacturing processes.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Industrial/ Mechanical Technology graduate or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of machine tools, materials, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
