Sr. Accountant - Bilingual

The Senior Accountant is responsible for leading monthly and annual closing processes, coordinating the preparation of budgets and forecasts, performing in-depth financial variance analysis, and ensuring correct Financial Consolidation (HFM). Additionally, they drive continuous improvement through cost reduction initiatives, operational efficiency, and the strengthening of internal controls, collaborating closely with key areas such as Accounting, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Operations. They also actively participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulations.

MAIN TASKS

• Lead and validate the submission of information regarding financial and operational indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
• Understand, generate, and present advanced financial analyses on products, groups, families, or combinations, as well as specialized information by area or process.
• Generate and analyze comparative information against budgets, forecasts, previous plans, and historical periods; interpret variances and issue strategic recommendations.
• Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction and the elimination of operational and administrative inefficiencies.
• Coordinate special accounting and financial tasks, such as financial investigations, complex reconciliations, and validation of critical information.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed professional degree
• More than 7 years of experience in general accounting, costs, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial consolidation.
• High availability and schedule flexibility, especially during critical periods such as accounting closings and audits.
• 90% English proficiency (oral and written)
• Extensive experience in manufacturing processes, with a focus on operational efficiency, process control, and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in the use, administration, and analysis of information in ERP systems, such as Oracle HFM or SAP.
• Solid experience in multinational companies, operating under corporate guidelines and global standards.
