Cloud Engineer AWS - Bilingual

The Cloud Specialist works in close collaboration with software development and cloud operations experts. They will assist with development work, code deployment, and operational support for new and existing services and applications. Candidates must be able to perform the necessary functions to deploy, configure, support, and troubleshoot within containerized and serverless environments hosted on AWS and Azure. The DevOps specialist will play a fundamental role in defining and operating all new cloud software architectures.

• Automate infrastructure as code (Terraform) to manage development, testing, and production environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD processes for container-based and serverless applications.
• Ensure that development teams use appropriate tools and processes to deploy code and operate environments.
• Manage change requests in accordance with platform strategy, standards, and governance.
• Improve monitoring, incident management processes, business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) strategy, and software quality control.
• Keep pace with the evolution of cloud technologies and recommend and implement improvements to our hosting standards.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks in running environments.
• Collaborate on the standardization of a modular and reusable DevOps toolchain.
• Contribute to manuals, create and update runbooks and general documentation, and write blog posts.
• Complete root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and lead post-mortem discussions.
• Debug production infrastructure issues and develop cost and performance optimizations.
• Maintain a close relationship with other engineering teams to drive and communicate DevOps automation.
• Part of Cloud Operations in an on-call rotation to respond to incidents affecting the service.

Spoken and written English at a minimum of 90%. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
