About the company

I’m recruiting for an established data recovery and forensic services business in Bury. Supporting customers across the UK, they’re looking for a confident Customer Service & Operations Administrator who can keep jobs moving and customers informed.

Your tasks

Expect a varied, busy role where you’ll take ownership, solve problems and work closely with your colleagues. You don’t need data recovery experience—full industry training is provided.

Your day could include…

  • Answering customer calls with a friendly, confident and professional approach.
  • Responding to emails and enquiries with clear, accurate information.
  • Keeping customers updated on their cases, including progress, delays and next steps.
  • Managing expectations and making sure customers know what happens next.
  • Accurately booking devices and jobs into and out of the system.
  • Arranging courier collections and deliveries.
  • Keeping customer records and internal databases up to date.
  • Prioritising urgent work alongside everyday administration.
  • Spotting potential issues early and escalating them when needed.
  • Working with colleagues to meet deadlines and keeping sensitive information confidential.

Requirements

If you’re the person who keeps everything organised, spots the small details and makes sure nobody is left waiting for an update, this could be your next move.

You’ll fit right in if you…

  • Have experience in a busy customer service or office administration role.
  • Have a great telephone manner and write clear, professional emails.
  • Enjoy organising your workload and juggling different priorities.
  • Pay close attention to detail, even when things get busy.
  • Stay calm and helpful when handling concerns or tricky enquiries.
  • Are comfortable using Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Are reliable, punctual and happy to take responsibility.
  • Can follow procedures and work independently once trained.

Experience with sales enquiries, CRM or job management systems, or courier coordination would be a bonus.
