Job Description

Your tasks:

• Testing, evaluating, and assessing the technical, operational, and safety-relevant usability of requirements specifications/functional specifications, also regarding organizational aspects of lightweight technology products made of fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP)
• Communication with Technical Services and regulatory authorities as well as provision of relevant process documentation
• Coordination and execution of testing and certification activities, provision of documents and test samples, maintenance and management of product approvals (new approvals, product changes)
• Coordination and integration of internal and external capacities as well as suppliers in relation to certification
• Creation and completion of corresponding test declarations and certification documents
• Creation and further development of component specifications for high-pressure applications as a basis for the creation of requirements and functional specifications (manufacturer- and design-independent)
• Procurement and optimization of application-related measuring equipment

Your profile:

• Dipl. Ing. (FH) Maschinenbau with a focus on design or comparable
• Basic knowledge in the field of manufacturing lightweight components made of fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP)
• Several years of experience in the field of certification of new technologies with high safety requirements
• Sound knowledge regarding the certification process in coordination with regulatory authorities, experience in working with Technical Services
• Experience in sub-/project management, ideally with components subject to certification and documentation requirements in the Automotive sector or comparable
• Analytical thinking and the ability to reduce complexity
• Good written and spoken English skills
