Job Description

Your tasks:

• Development of system hardware for surface and underwater systems
• Selection and evaluation of system components
• Creation of requirement, architecture, and test specifications for HW system components
• Creation of hardware specifications for surface and underwater systems
• Creation of specifications for circuit and wiring diagrams
• Conception and creation of adjustment and test instructions for systems and individual components
• Planning, configuration, and commissioning of plant networks (1Gb / 10GB)

Your profile:

• Knowledge of network technology, degree in communications engineering/ power engineering/ automation technology (also FH)
• Knowledge of relevant protocol and interface standards (CAN, NMEA, RS232, -422, -485)
• Understanding of complex SW - HW dependencies in systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Team player and communicative
• Good knowledge of network technology (CCNP or CCIE certification Routing and Switching or similar)
• Embedded Processing knowledge, desirable
• PLC knowledge, desirable
