Maintenance Manager

Role Description The Maintenance Manager at Lavida Sauces is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Obour, Egypt. The role is responsible for leading the maintenance team, ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems, planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing downtime, and improving equipment performance. The Maintenance Manager works closely with Production and Quality teams to support efficient operations while ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards.
Role Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Monitor equipment performance and minimize production downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
Manage maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards.
Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline .
4–10 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Strong Maintenance Management and Preventive Maintenance skills, with experience planning, organizing, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
Solid Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills, including hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop maintenance teams.
Strong understanding of safety regulations, hygiene standards, and food manufacturing requirements.
Proficiency in using maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work on-site and respond effectively to operational and production priorities.
