Kitchen Porters

Location: Holmbury St Mary (Must Drive) Pay: £13.50 per hour Hours: Various part-time positions available Our client recruiting Kitchen Porters to join the catering team at a well-established school in Holmbury St Mary. This is an ideal opportunity for a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working as part of a busy team.

Available Hours Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm – 40 weeks per year, term time plus Summer School Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–7:00pm – 35 weeks per year, term time only Saturday–Sunday, 10:00am–7:00pm – 40 weeks per year, term time plus Summer School 5.6 weeks' paid holiday included.

Key Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dining and food preparation areas. Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and catering equipment. Supporting the catering team during busy service periods. Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation and storage. Moving food, equipment and supplies safely around the school. Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety. Following school policies and completing required training. About You The successful candidate will be: Reliable, punctual and hardworking. A good team player with a positive attitude. Able to work efficiently in a busy environment. Physically capable of standing for extended periods and moving stock safely. Committed to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Willing to learn and undertake relevant training. Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant, Cleaner or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
