Position Mission Lead the Trade Marketing strategy for the channels, building a clear vision of where to play, how to win, and how to create value for the company, customers, and shoppers. The position will play a protagonist role in defining channel strategies, customer segmentation, and building Joint Business Plans (JBP), connecting Sales, Marketing, Category, Revenue Growth Management, and Execution to accelerate sell-out, distribution, profitability, and sustainable growth. We are looking for a professional who combines strategic vision and strong commercial orientation with hands-on capability: someone capable of identifying opportunities, structuring solutions, mobilizing stakeholders, and getting into the necessary detail to ensure the strategy happens at the front line. Main responsibilities
- Channel strategy & value creation
Lead the construction and evolution of each channel's strategy, defining its role, priorities, growth opportunities, and execution model. Build an integrated vision of shopper, customer, category, portfolio, price, distribution, and execution, transforming insights into strategic choices. Identify and prioritize opportunities to accelerate sell-out, distribution, mix, availability, execution, and profitability. Develop specific value propositions per channel, balancing company growth, competitiveness, and value generation for customers. Be the main Trade reference for Sales in discussions on how to win in each channel.
- Segmentation & customer value proposition
Lead the customer segmentation strategy, differentiating priorities, value proposition, and operating models according to the potential and profile of each cluster. Translate segmentation into “service packages”, investment levels, portfolio, execution, and differentiated commercial approaches. Use performance, shopper, market, and potential data to identify where to concentrate resources and efforts to maximize return. Ensure that segmentation is an effective tool to increase commercial productivity and execution quality.
- JBP & strategic customer development
Lead the methodology and evolution of Joint Business Plans (JBP), elevating the discussion with customers from a transactional agenda to a joint growth and value creation agenda. Work in partnership with Sales in building strategic plans based on category, shopper, portfolio, distribution, execution, and profitability opportunities. Structure objectives, KPIs, initiatives, investments, and governance for the main JBPs. Develop tools, frameworks, and best practices that elevate the organization's ability to build business plans with customers. Participate in the main strategic agendas with customers, bringing insights, provocations, and recommendations that strengthen the commercial partnership.
- Commercial excellence, performance & execution
Transform channel strategy into clear and scalable execution models, ensuring connection between planning and the POS reality. Lead the evolution of excellence programs, Perfect Store, and other frameworks capable of raising the execution standard of the channels. Build an integrated vision of the main indicators — sell-out, distribution, share, ROS, mix, availability, stock, positive positioning, and ROI — transforming data into decisions and actions. Establish a management culture oriented by insight → action → result, simplifying indicators and increasing decision-making speed. Ensure discipline in the allocation of Trade investments, directing resources to opportunities with the highest potential for growth and value creation. Stay close to the commercial team, customers, and operation to capture opportunities, test solutions, and accelerate implementation.
- Leadership, protagonism & influence
Lead and develop the team, elevating its analytical, strategic, and commercial capacity, with clear priorities, autonomy, and accountability. Act as a true business partner to Sales, influencing decisions and bringing benchmarks, insights, and new perspectives to the business. Build alignment between different areas and stakeholders, navigating with agility in complex and multifunctional environments. Take protagonism in building new solutions, with a sense of ownership, speed, and execution capability. Combine long-term thinking with a hands-on posture, getting into the detail when necessary to unlock problems and ensure deliveries.
