Coordinate the management of the company's direct taxes, ensuring the correct calculation, accounting, reporting, and tax governance of IRPJ, CSLL, deferred taxes, and related ancillary obligations, ensuring compliance with tax legislation, national and international accounting standards, and global corporate policies. Act as a strategic partner to the global Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and other business areas, contributing to the optimization of the tax burden, management of the effective tax rate (ETR), value generation, tax compliance, tax planning, and support for global International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and Pillar Two initiatives. Main responsibilities: Tax Compliance: Lead the calculation and compliance of direct taxes, ensuring tax and accounting compliance and risk mitigation. Tax Reporting: Coordinate tax closings and reports for the headquarters, audits, and executive leadership. ETR and Results Management: Monitor the effective tax rate and identify opportunities for tax efficiency and impacts on results. International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and Pillar Two: Lead global themes of international taxation, transfer pricing, and Pillar Two governance. Budget, Forecast, and Cash Tax: Conduct tax projections and management of cash flow related to direct taxes. JCP and SUDENE: Manage tax strategies and benefits related to JCP, SUDENE, and shareholder remuneration. Ancillary Obligations: Ensure the correct delivery of ancillary obligations and the consistency of tax and accounting information. Tax Credit Management: Administer tax credits, identifying opportunities for recovery, compensation, and monetization. Inspections, Audits, and Risk Management: Act as a reference in audits, inspections, and tax risk management, ensuring regulatory compliance.
