OutSystems Developer - Low Code Engineer (Consultant / Senior Consultant)

About the company

My client, a well-established technology consulting and digital transformation organization, is looking for experienced OutSystems Developers / Low Code Engineers to support and modernize a business-critical Singapore public sector platform.

Your tasks

This role involves application development, production support, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and modernization initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Application Development

• Develop and enhance applications using OutSystems.
• Build and maintain business workflows, integrations, and application logic.
• Support frontend functionality and content management components.
• Develop and maintain Oracle Database objects, queries, and stored procedures.

Production Support

• Resolve application defects, incidents, performance issues, and integration failures.
• Support deployments, releases, rollbacks, and post-deployment validation.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.

Infrastructure & Integration

• Support applications hosted on AWS.
• Work with enterprise security, authentication, and identity integrations.
• Support enterprise-scale application environments and integrations.

Modernisation Initiatives

• Participate in migration and modernization projects.
• Support transition planning, technical assessments, testing, and cutovers.
• Ensure production stability during transformation initiatives.

Senior Consultant Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery and engineering workstreams.
• Provide architecture and solution guidance.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and complex production issues.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical decisions.

Requirements

Consultant

• Minimum 3 years' OutSystems development experience
• Experience supporting production applications post go-live
• Hands-on Oracle Database experience
• Enterprise application development experience
• Experience delivering at least one Singapore Government OutSystems project

• Minimum 7 years' application development experience
• At least 3 years' OutSystems experience
• Technical leadership and solution architecture experience
• Experience leading system implementation, enhancement, migration, or modernization projects

• Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) / Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA)
• Sitefinity CMS
• AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, ELB, CodeDeploy, KMS)
• GitLab CI/CD or CodePipeline
• ADFS, SAML, WOG AD, CAM
• API Gateway
• Dynatrace, Datadog, CloudWatch
• Infrastructure & Security Practices
• Cloud Migration & Modernization Experience

• Strong OutSystems development experience

• Exposure to AWS-hosted enterprise applications
• Singapore Government project experience
• Large-scale application modernization experience
• Ability to support and enhance complex legacy systems while contributing to future-state architecture
