Finance Executive, AR (1-Year Contract / Shared Services Centre / West)

About the role Our client is a well-established consumer and retail organization with a strong presence in Singapore. They are seeking a Finance Executive (AR) to join their Shared Services Centre, supporting revenue accounting, payment reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and finance operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day revenue accounting activities, including receipt processing, transaction validation, invoicing, credit note issuance, and reconciliation of sales transactions. Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple payment channels and systems to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Support month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, revenue accruals, account reconciliations, and other finance-related reporting requirements. Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, payment variances, and operational issues, working closely with internal stakeholders to maintain strong financial controls. Prepare operational and financial reports, support audit requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams on system and process improvements, and assist with ad-hoc finance initiatives.

Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline. 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Accounting, or Accounts Receivable. Experience handling high-volume transactional processing, reconciliations, and month-end activities. Familiarity with SAP Accounting System. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
