Bilingual Accountant - Chiriquí
Your tasks
Cost and inventory control: Supervise and optimize operating costs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Accounting entries and analysis: Record and review accounting transactions. Financial statements: Timely preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, statement of sources and uses of funds, and reports and annexes by profit center and cost center. Budgets: Prepare annual budgets and cash flow projections. Review and analyze monthly actual results against the budget, and present analysis and comments on variances. Reconciliations: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations, ITBMS reconciliations, and DGI filings, as well as key account reconciliations. Regulatory compliance: Ensure that accounting practices comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and with regional and international regulations. Ensure that all taxes are paid punctually to the corresponding authorities. Financial advisory: Propose innovative recommendations to improve the company's financial and organizational practices. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of five years of experience as a senior accountant, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or a service industry.
