Purchasing Assistant - Women's Clothing

Purpose of the Position

Provide comprehensive support to the purchasing and clothing model development area, ensuring efficient management with national and international suppliers, administrative control of the process, and fluid coordination between design, production, and commercialization for the local and export markets.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the development of clothing models, gathering ideas, trends, and international market references.
• Coordinate the purchase of materials, fabrics, and accessories, ensuring correct selection and quality.
• Manage communication and follow-up with international suppliers, including quotes, orders, and delivery times.
• Prepare and maintain updated records in Excel, control of purchase orders, costs, and budgets.
• Draft and respond to emails in English with suppliers and external clients.
• Support administrative tasks of the department, control of documentation, files, and reports.
• Collaborate with the design and production team to ensure the correct execution of the models.

Profile Requirements

Studies in Administration, International Trade, Fashion Design, or related careers. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the purchasing area or clothing model development (not haute couture). Knowledge of fashion, fabrics, and textile materials. Intermediate to advanced handling of Microsoft Excel. Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, and with attention to detail.
