General Internship Information

• Internship Name: Finance Intern
• Department: Finanzas.
• Modality and Schedule: In-person (Minimum 4 days a week)
• Location: J&T Express El Salvador Administrative Offices, Torre Futura Escalón

Job Objective

To support university students through an internship program that allows students to apply their academic knowledge in a real business environment, following up on the processes of the Finanzas department and contributing to the continuous improvement of the company.

Candidate Profile

• 4th-year university student.
• Related majors: Contaduría Pública, Administración de Empresas. Student of one of the following universities:
• Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador.
• Universidad Pedagógica de El Salvador.
• Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado.
• Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA).
• Languages: Intermediate English level (required)

Technical Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
• Handling of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, and basic functions).
• Basic knowledge of budgets, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports, accounting entries, report preparation, etc.

Functions:

• Support the preparation and updating of financial reports.
• Collaborate in the reconciliation and review of accounting information.
• Organize and follow up on financial documentation.
• File accounting documents
• Provide support in administrative activities of the area.
• Participate in projects and process improvements of the Finanzas department.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws in the tasks assigned to them
