Your tasks
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
We are looking for individual to join our team for Western Canada/US runs. Have a 53' Flat Quad. Must have 2 years experience.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair principles is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
