We are now looking for a CAR BUYER for a permanent position at our Lahti location.

As a buyer, you will play an important role in building the selection for the Lahti location and supporting sales success. Your work is directly reflected in the types of vehicles our customers find in our selection and how well we are able to meet market demand.

In this role, you are responsible for purchasing vehicles both domestically and from abroad. You will acquire vehicles from private customers, companies, and various digital marketplaces. You will actively monitor market developments, identify interesting purchase targets, and make decisions that have a direct impact on business results.

This is not just about buying passenger cars. You will also acquire other interesting vehicles for our selection, such as vans and other equipment meeting demand. Success in this job requires the ability to identify which vehicles are in demand at any given time and find them at the right time.

Good IT skills are important in this role, as several digital systems and marketplaces are utilized daily. The position also requires good English language skills, as some purchases are made from international markets.

What does your work involve? 📋

As a car buyer, you are responsible for, among other things:

• The procurement of used passenger and commercial vehicles
• Purchasing vehicles from private customers, companies, and digital marketplaces – both from Finland and abroad
• Active monitoring of market prices, demand, and supply
• Mapping new procurement channels and purchasing opportunities
• Collaboration with the sales team to develop the selection
• Planning and developing purchasing activities within your own area of responsibility

• Previous experience in car purchasing or sales roles
• Interest in cars and the vehicle trade market
• A commercial mindset and the ability to make decisions even in rapidly changing situations
• Good IT skills and familiarity with digital systems
• Proactivity, initiative, and a desire to become a top professional
• Fluent spoken and written English skills
