Event Registration, Customer Service & Timing Intern (Unpaid)

About the company

ITP Sport, part of ITP Media Group, delivers sports events and experiences, including Spartan and Tough Mudder. We’re looking for an organised, customer-focused and proactive intern to support participant registration, event enquiries and race timing operations.

Your tasks

This role offers hands-on experience in event management, participant services and event-day operations, working closely with internal teams and external timing providers to ensure a smooth participant experience.

• Respond to participant enquiries and assist with registration updates, changes and general event information.
• Support race pack collection and event-day check-in, ensuring a smooth and organised process.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external timing providers on participant start lists, timing chips and race results.
• Assist with resolving timing and results enquiries, escalating issues when needed.
• Maintain accurate registration records and participant information.
• Support post-event reporting, results follow-ups and general administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach with good problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable managing enquiries and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, participants and external providers.
• Flexibility to support event-day operations when required.
• An interest in sports, events or customer service is an advantage.
