Since 1997, ITOPP has supported its clients by offering custom equipment designed to meet their most complex technical challenges.
As part of its growth and to support the development of its strategic anti-drone program, ITOPP is recruiting a Senior System Mechanical Engineer (M/F) within the Special Projects Technical Department.
Do you want to lead an ambitious defense program in a human-sized environment? This position is made for you!
YOUR MISSIONS
Reporting to the Technical Director of Special Projects, you are the system mechanical referent for the program. Your mission: design, develop, integrate, and qualify the architecture of our anti-drone system in order to evolve it toward a reliable, transportable prototype and then into an industrializable product.
In this capacity, you will be required to:
- Analyze the existing mechanical architecture, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and define the maturation trajectory toward an operational prototype and then an industrializable product;
- Define the global mechanical architecture of the system in coordination with partners or system integrators;
- Take into account and integrate sub-assemblies: sources, antennas, electronics;
- Perform mechanical studies in interface with EMC and shielding studies;
- Anticipate future industrialization constraints from the design stage (choice of materials, processes, standardization, costs);
- Design solutions that promote the reliability, maintainability, and accessibility of the system;
- Lead the mechanical integration phases;
- Perform simulations;
- Participate in test campaigns and analyze results;
- Write the associated technical deliverables.
YOUR PROFILE

- Solid skills in structural calculation (static, dynamic, vibration, thermal);
- Mastery of system engineering, the V-cycle, and the TRL (Technology Readiness Level) maturation process;
- Professional English (minimum B2 level) to operate in an international context.
Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for a profile capable of working in a team, making decisions, and defending technical choices, with a strong taste for innovation and a real appetite for demanding SME environments.
