Project Manager in Mechanical Industrial Design (M/F)

ITOPP, an internationally renowned company, designs, develops, manufactures, tests, and operates Pulsed High Power systems for the defense, research, security, and industrial sectors.

As part of its development and to support its growth, ITOPP is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer - M/F. Your missions Reporting to the Mechanical Design Office Manager, you will be at the heart of the mechanical design of specific and innovative projects. You will intervene throughout the entire development cycle, from system architecture analysis to equipment assembly, integrating the specific constraints of pulsed high power into technical choices, design, and equipment validation. In this capacity, you will be required to:

• Analyze the system architecture and perform mechanical sizing of solutions;
• Design mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies in compliance with technical, cost, quality, and deadline requirements;
• Produce engineering drawings, definition files, and machine bills of materials;
• Participate in technical choices and propose innovative and reliable solutions;
• Exchange technically with mechanical suppliers and ensure follow-up on production;
• Supervise and participate in the mechanical assembly of equipment;
• Collaborate with other design offices (automation, electricity, production, and projects);

Your profile

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school in the field of mechanics. You have a successful first experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in the special machine sector.

You are proficient in:

• CAD tools (particularly CREO and CATIA);
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools;
• Strength of materials calculation;
• Materials science.

You have knowledge in electricity, automation, and development (V-model).

A minimum English level of B2 is required to communicate effectively in an international context. Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for a person who is curious, proactive, and motivated by learning in an innovative field.
