Job Description
Manage marine business in Singapore and the Asia Oceania regions. Plan and execute business strategy to achieve mid-term targets of the section. Draw up the fiscal year budget and manage forecast and results of Section. Communicate with the Tokyo Head Quarter periodicaly to report and update project and financial status. Develop and manage new projects together with local partners in Asia Oceania countries and Tokyo Head Quarter. Operate and expand trade businesses relating to the new projects. Research and find out investment opportunities in Asia and Oceania countries.
Job Requirements
- Proven ability to formulate and drive clear, consistent, and sustainable strategies within the marine business sector, supported by extensive experience in trading, investment, and finance related to the marine industry.
- Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively convey information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to senior management, employees, clients, and business partners.
- A proactive and challenge-orientated mindset, combined with flexibility and open-mindedness, and proven experience working effectively in multicultural and diverse environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including the ability to identify and define issues, gather and assess critical information from clients and vendors, determine root causes, and develop and implement practical solutions.
- Advanced business-level Japanese communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Japanese stakeholders across all regions and at the Japan headquarters; Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 or equivalent proficiency required.
