UI Engineer

Work location: hybrid work - 3 days from the client's office in Kraków Start: according to the Candidate's availability Form of cooperation: B2B with ITFS Rate: 120-140 PLN/h + VAT Recruitment process: Short phone call with an ITFS recruiter -> Recruitment interview with the client -> Decision

Daily tasks

• Development and delivery of production front-end applications based on React
• Designing component architecture and creating maintainable code, taking into account accessibility and performance optimization
• Integrating applications with REST API and collaborating with backend teams regarding requirements
• Designing and developing interactive user interfaces, including applications with complex flows and large amounts of data
• Styling applications using CSS3/Less and ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Creating Proof of Concept, testing applications at various levels, and rapid iteration and selection of appropriate architectural solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in front-end development and creating production React applications
• Advanced knowledge of React 17+, JavaScript ES2015+, and HTML5
• Experience in designing component architecture and maintaining clean code
• Knowledge of REST API and collaboration with backend teams
• Experience in delivering at least 2 complex UI applications to production
• Practical knowledge of CSS3/Less, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of state management, performance optimization, and application accessibility
• Experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing as well as CI/CD
• Ability to select libraries and architectural patterns and create PoC
• Very good analytical skills, attention to code quality and detail
• Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in using agentic LLM models in the development process
• English at B2+/C1 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with Redux
• Knowledge of Cypress or similar end-to-end testing tools
• Experience with Figma and implementing UI projects
• Knowledge of UX principles
• Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture and webpack/Vite tools
