Daily tasks
- Designing architecture and solution diagrams for large-scale IT systems
- Defining interoperability, integration, interfaces, and technological standards
- Translating business, user, and technical requirements into architectural designs
- Assessing feasibility and architectural options for complex, international ICT solutions
- Designing systems with an emphasis on scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Creating architectural artifacts, models, and documentation using UML and standard methodologies
- Establishing and enforcing standards for architecture, software development, quality assurance, and oversight
- Estimating effort, schedules, scope of work, and technical risk
- Selecting, evaluating, and recommending technologies, platforms, and architectural approaches
- Leading development teams and providing technical direction throughout the full system lifecycle
- Participating in requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, deployments, and change management
- Preparing technical documentation, architectural products, and presentations for stakeholders
- Monitoring and analyzing system metrics to optimize performance, security, and quality
- Supporting architectural activities in the areas of cloud storage, video surveillance, video streaming, and field operating systems
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams
Requirements
Min. 8 years of experience in IT
Min. 3 years of experience as a Software/Solution/Enterprise Architect or similar
Master's degree (in IT)
Min. 1 Master-level certification in the field of software development or solution architecture (or an equivalent international certification)
English language proficiency min. C1
Experience in a lead architect role during the development of at least 2 software systems
Expert experience in designing and creating Enterprise-class system architecture
Expert knowledge in system performance planning, security architecture, and performance optimization
Very good knowledge of databases, application servers, middleware, web servers, GIS services, directory services, Microsoft platform security, Business Intelligence concepts, system integration, and IDE environments
Expert knowledge of UML, experience in creating architectural models and designs
Very good knowledge of methodologies, lifecycles, and software development standards, including RUP, ISO/IEC 12207, and Agile
Proficiency in using tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent
Ability to lead technical teams and direct architectural decision-making processes
Ability to effectively document technical solutions and architectural artifacts
High communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Experience in assessing the feasibility of large-scale ICT solutions spanning multiple countries
Practical knowledge of video surveillance and video streaming solutions
Experience in providing technological support for field operations
Experience working with cloud storage solutions
Business mindset and experience collaborating with business stakeholders
