Daily tasks

  • Designing, developing, and optimizing advanced business applications on the IBM Mainframe platform,
  • Analyzing business requirements and independently implementing system solutions,
  • Maintaining and resolving production issues in business-critical systems,
  • On-call shifts (availability by phone for less than one week per month, including night shifts).

Requirements

Min. 3 years of commercial experience in creating and maintaining applications on the IBM Mainframe platform, Very good knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS, Practical experience with DB2 databases, including writing SQL and query optimization, Ability to analyze business requirements and independently design solutions, Experience in diagnosing production failures and optimizing application performance, Proactive approach, independence, and a high sense of responsibility for assigned tasks, English language at min. B1 level.

Nice to have:

Experience working with Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD processes in Mainframe environments, Experience in the banking, financial, or insurance industry, Knowledge of Mainframe modernization initiatives and AI tools supporting software development,

Must have: IBM, COBOL, SQL, IBM Mainfroame, DB2, JCL, z/OS
