Guidewire Business Analyst

Your tasks

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements in Guidewire projects,
• Conducting workshops with clients and stakeholders and analyzing insurance processes,
• Mapping business processes in the areas of policies, premiums, payments, and claims,
• Preparing functional documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams,
• Participating in the analysis and design of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter solutions,
• Performing fit-gap analyses and identifying functional gaps,
• Analyzing integration requirements and collaborating on the integration of Guidewire with external systems,
• Analyzing flows, mapping, and data migration requirements,
• Collaborating with developers, testers, architects, and Product Owners in Agile/Scrum,
• Preparing test scenarios, supporting functional, integration, and UAT testing,
• Analyzing defects and supporting the identification of causes for functional non-compliance,
• Participating in the preparation of production deployments, change management, and system stabilization.

Requirements

• Min 4 years of experience as an Analyst,
• Practical knowledge of the Guidewire platform and experience with the PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter modules,
• Knowledge of insurance processes,
• Experience in gathering and documenting requirements, creating user stories, and acceptance criteria,
• Ability to perform fit-gap analyses and translate requirements into functional solutions,
• Knowledge of system integrations and basics of REST API and SOAP,
• Ability to analyze data structures and formats (JSON, XML),
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis and testing support,
• Experience in IT testing, creating test scenarios, and supporting SIT and UAT testing,
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools,
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC cycle,
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with stakeholders and the technical team,
• English language at min. C1 level (very good proficiency in speaking and writing).

• Guidewire certifications
• Knowledge of Gosu language
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud solutions AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Postman/Swagger, Xray/Zephyr
