Firmware Engineer (Device Validation)

Work location: Warsaw (on-site)

Cooperation form: B2B with ITFS

Rate:*Mid 100 - 130 PLN net/h + VAT | Senior** 140 - 170 PLN/h + VAT

Recruitment process: Short phone call with an ITFS recruiter -> Technical-project interview -> Decision.

Daily tasks

• Responsibility for system design and firmware on prototype hardware and development platforms,
• Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team on engineering issues,
• Experimenting with and implementing interfaces for various sensors and sensors,
• Creating firmware code controlling innovative display systems and cameras,
• Writing programs and scripts in Python for testing embedded systems,
• Close cooperation with technology teams in defining the scope of prototyping and product development.

Requirements

• Min.3years of experience* in firmware and motherboard-level driver development,
• Higher technical education (electronics, computer science, or related),
• Practical experience in board bring-up and system debugging,
• Experience working with ARM processors and microcontrollers and communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S),
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools, such as bus analyzers and oscilloscopes,
• Practice in protocol design, specification, and implementation,
• Ability to debug and solve problems in complex environments and code,
• Experience in validating SoC systems with dedicated ASIC chips,
• Experience in programming in Python for the purpose of automating embedded software build and test,
• English language at a minimum B2 level.
