POSITION: Data Migration Architect

Work location: 100% remote (occasional business travel within the EU required, approx. 1-2 times every 2 months)

Start: ASAP (max. 30 days notice period)

Form of cooperation: B2B with ITFS

Rate: 180--220 PLN/h + VAT

Recruitment process: Short phone call with an ITFS recruiter -> Recruitment interview with the Partner and End Client -> Decision

Designing and managing complex migration strategies for data, databases, and data warehouses to the cloud,
Architecture and implementation of large-scale migrations to BigQuery,
Performance optimization of complicated database workloads and SQL queries,
Support for initiatives in the area of Data Streaming SIG and working within the data ecosystem,
Development and support of solutions using Java or Python as well as Databricks and DataProc tools.

Experience in a GCP Data Architect position, with a particular focus on migration to BigQuery,

Deep experience with legacy environments, including mandatory knowledge of Teradata,

Proven success in the area of Cloud Database, Data Lake, and complex data migration strategies,

Practical knowledge of Databricks, DataProc tools, and Data Streaming SIG initiatives,

Proficiency in programming in Java or Python and advanced SQL query optimization,

Higher technical education,

English language at a fluent level (min. C1),

Readiness for occasional business trips within the EU (approx. 1-2 times every 2 months).

Nice to have:

Experience working with Oracle / Exadata,

Knowledge of the Italian language.
