Daily tasks

• The Consultant will be responsible for conducting business analysis and refining the requirements necessary for project implementation. As part of their activities, they will prepare a detailed backlog, develop analytical documentation covering business and functional requirements, as well as user stories with acceptance criteria. Additionally, they will prepare diagrams and models representing business processes, data flows, and integrations between systems. The scope of work will also include refining the functional scope of the MVP, identifying elements remaining out of scope, and documenting key project assumptions. The BL Consultant will analyze required integrations, define significant business rules, and ensure their consistency with the requirements and the designed solution.

Requirements

Higher education Minimum 5 years of experience in an analyst role within a development team, including at least 2 years in the insurance industry (or financial industry) Ability to model processes (e.g., via UML, user story mapping) Ability to document requirements (e.g., BPMN) Knowledge and experience working in Agile and Scrum Ability to converse fluently with stakeholders to elicit requirements (functional and non-functional) and decompose them to the level of specification for changes in IT systems Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and issues related to data modeling Knowledge of basic concepts related to the object-oriented programming paradigm and basic data processing assumptions: batch processing/workqueue, messaging/queues Knowledge of system integration patterns (synchronous and asynchronous) Knowledge of JSON and schema-avro Knowledge of the documentation as a code concept Knowledge of English at B1/B2 level (reading documentation, communication with vendors)
