Your tasks

You will lead testing activities for web applications, developing and executing automated and manual test cases to ensure quality across multiple environments. Collaborate with clients and teams to analyze requirements and deliver reliable software solutions.

• Determine application or system testing requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Develop and maintain detailed records of functional test cases, results, and test data using Test Automation and Jira Zephyr
• Estimate, plan, prioritize, monitor progress, and coordinate testing activities to meet project timelines
• Provide daily status reports on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to stakeholders
• Develop and execute automated test scripts within the Regression Suite to improve testing efficiency
• Analyze client business requirements and processes through document analysis, interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis to inform testing scope
• Contribute to system modifications by providing input and developing business specifications aligned with client needs
• Ensure application quality across multiple environments including System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, Performance, and Production
• Design and execute test scenarios and cases for Unit, Integration, System, Database, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing
• Prepare test data and perform defect reporting to track and resolve issues promptly

Requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a test engineer specializing in web applications
• Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and agile team testing practices
• Proficiency in Web Application Automation Testing techniques such as smoke testing, database testing, integration testing, white-box and black-box testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processes
• Knowledge of test automation principles, methods, and frameworks
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, Selenium
• Experience executing software testing within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, specifically Serenity
• Functional testing experience, preferably with domain knowledge in banking or financial sectors
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
