Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in iOS application development, mobile architecture, application security, and secure networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure and high-performance iOS applications to meet business requirements
• Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable mobile client solutions for enterprise use
• Apply secure coding practices throughout the mobile application development lifecycle to prevent vulnerabilities
• Implement secure data persistence, encryption, and sensitive data protection mechanisms such as Keychain and local storage safeguards
• Develop secure mobile networking solutions using HTTPS, TLS, certificate validation, and relevant security protocols
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT) to ensure secure user access
• Apply OWASP Mobile Application Security (MAS) principles to identify, prevent, and mitigate mobile application vulnerabilities
• Conduct code reviews, security assessments, and performance optimization to improve application quality and security
• Identify and resolve application defects, security vulnerabilities, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with backend engineers, security teams, QA engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure mobile solutions
• Integrate mobile applications securely with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and automated testing practices
• Stay up to date with emerging iOS technologies, mobile security threats, and industry best practices to continuously improve development standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong hands-on experience in iOS application development using Swift and the iOS SDK
• Solid understanding of iOS application architecture, design patterns, and software engineering principles
• Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of secure data storage and persistence mechanisms, including Keychain and appropriate local storage protection
• Experience implementing secure mobile networking using HTTPS, TLS, certificate validation, and other relevant security mechanisms
• Strong understanding of mobile application security principles, threat modeling, and secure coding practices
• In-depth knowledge of OWASP Mobile Application Security principles and common mobile security vulnerabilities
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization technologies, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and JWT
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling sensitive data securely
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows
