Production Administrator
Our client, an established company operating within the apertures manufacturing industry in Malta , is seeking an experienced and organised Production Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration and coordination of the Production function, working closely with Production, Stores, Finance and external suppliers. The role requires someone who understands the operational environment of an apertures business and can ensure that stock, documentation and production-related information are managed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Raise purchase orders and coordinate the replenishment of production materials, consumables, accessories and stock to support uninterrupted production.
Liaise closely with suppliers, Stores, Finance and Production regarding orders, deliveries and stock availability.
Monitor inventory levels and highlight potential shortages, discrepancies or delays.
Assist with stock counts, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
Support the Production Manager with daily production administration, including measurements, production data and related inputs.
Assist with production planning and scheduling activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing records, documentation and production information.
Ensure relevant information is communicated effectively between Production and other departments.
Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders where necessary to ensure operational requirements are met.
Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Production team.
Requirements Previous experience within the apertures industry is required , whether within aluminium, PVC, wood or a similar aperture manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in production administration, manufacturing administration, purchasing, stock control or a related position.
Fluency in Maltese and English is required.
Good understanding of production processes, stock management and the operational requirements of an apertures business.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel .
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when dealing with measurements, stock information and production records.
Good communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers and different internal departments.
A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach to work.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Working Hours This is a full-time, on-site position based in Malta . Working hours offer some flexibility, with the working day generally starting between 6:30am and 7:00am and finishing between 4:30pm and 5:00pm , depending on the agreed schedule.
