Currently, we are looking for a Business Analyst. Your responsibilities include:

• Responsible for gathering detailed requirements and functional specifications for the development and improvement of IT systems
• You work closely with the Enterprise Business Architect and the Business Relationship & Planning Team to exchange knowledge about Business
• You develop functional specifications, produce deliverables related to the assigned project(s), and assist with post-implementation support
• Responsible for gathering, compiling, and synthesizing information regarding technological processes and systems
• You translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to them
• You develop test cases for users and validate test results during user acceptance tests
• Updating documentation of processes, creating reusable and shareable assets

Profile

• Experience with drafting user stories, story maps, and use cases
• Experience with defining functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience with drafting clear acceptance criteria
• Architectural affinity and preferably experience with developing solution directions, system integrations, and architectural concepts
• Able to think along from an end-to-end perspective regarding the impact of requirements on applications, systems, data, and integrations
• Technical background and knowledge of technologies such as Mainframe, Java and/or .NET
• Able to translate technical and functional requirements into feasible IT solutions and coordinate this with architects and development teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of English and French
• Able to analyze the activities and processes of business partners and identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
• You possess expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as insight into the systems and capabilities of the IT organization
• Good knowledge of the business domains and business functions being supported, combined with insight into the IT systems and capabilities of the organization
• Process-oriented and able to structure and optimize complex processes
• Strong analytical thinking ability and the ability to make connections between business, processes, data, and IT
• Experience with mapping processes, systems, dependencies, and integrations
• Experience or insight into EU legislation is a plus, but not a requirement
• Willingness and availability to travel abroad occasionally
