As a Financial Accounting Employee (m/f/d), you will monitor daily incoming and outgoing payments and take care of ongoing accounting processes.

Tasks

  • Ongoing accounting activities (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting) as well as account reconciliations
  • Preparation of tax returns (e.g., USt-VA, ZM, etc.)
  • Processing of payment transactions and liquidity management
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensuring effective and efficient receivables management including dunning processes
  • Contact person for tax, social security law, and customs law issues
  • Further administrative tasks

Qualification

  • A successfully completed commercial vocational training, ideally as a Steuerfachangestellte/r
  • Good knowledge of commercial and tax law as well as optionally wage tax law
  • Initial sound professional experience in financial accounting as well as optionally in payroll accounting
  • High affinity for numbers in connection with very good analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • Willingness to take on cross-departmental activities
  • Confident handling of common MS-Office programs, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of using an ERP system, ideally MS Dynamics NAV or BC
  • Proficient English skills in speaking and writing
