Studio/Office Location: Ketu, Lagos

This role requires regular physical attendance at our studio. Therefore, we particularly encourage candidates who live within or around:

Candidates from other parts of Lagos are welcome to apply, provided they can comfortably commute to Ketu for scheduled studio sessions.

At Ìṣèda , we are building a platform that helps people rediscover African history, culture, traditions, legends and stories through engaging digital experiences.

We are looking for Content Editor Interns to join our creative team and help transform African stories into engaging digital content.

What you’ll do

·      Edit audio content for African history, folklore, legends and cultural stories

·      Edit storytelling content designed for children and young audiences

·      Combine narration, music, sound effects and other elements to create engaging stories

·      Add transitions, subtitles, captions and basic visual effects

·      Clean up and enhance audio where necessary

·      Work with narrators and the creative team during recording and post-production

·      Help adapt raw recordings into polished, engaging digital content

·      Support the creation of content for social media and other digital platforms

What we’re looking for

·      OND, HND or BSc, or currently pursuing a relevant qualification

·      Basic knowledge of video editing and content production

·      Familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar tools

·      Good understanding of storytelling and visual presentation

·      Basic knowledge of sound editing, audio mixing and sound effects is a strong advantage

·      Creative eye and attention to detail

·      Ability to work with voice recordings, music and visual assets

·      Interest in African history, culture and storytelling

·      Willingness to learn, experiment and receive feedback

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team

·      Willingness to come into the studio for recording and content production sessions

Internship Stipend

₦30,000 – ₦40,000 monthly stipend

The stipend will depend on experience, performance, and overall suitability for the role.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid Role

This is a hybrid role, with 3–4 days per week dedicated to in-office/studio sessions for content production, recording and collaborative creative work. Outside of scheduled studio days, you will work remotely as required to support editing, content preparation, research and other assigned responsibilities.

No professional editing experience? No problem.

This is an internship opportunity , and we are open to talented beginners who have creativity, an eye for good content and the willingness to learn.
