We are currently looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our clients warehouse team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate has experience operating Reach and Order Picker (OP) forklifts, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and safety throughout the workday.
Location: Mississauga, ON Job Type: Full-Time Wage:*$19.35/hour**
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate Reach and Order Picker (OP) forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Pick and stage orders accurately
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Work with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Support other warehouse areas as required
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of forklift and warehouse experience
- Experience operating Reach and Order Picker (OP) forklifts
- Valid forklift certification/license
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to support other warehouse areas as needed
