Our expertise: We are a community of experts intervening in complex client needs in the field of digital transformation, whether on migration or modernization projects for large groups as well as startups. You will join our Modern Architecture practice, composed of 20-25 solutions architects, working in connection with about 50 technical architects across 9 agencies in France.

Job Description: We are looking for a Solutions Architect who can join a 100% architecture competency center. This opportunity is also open in our national agencies (Marseille, Lyon, Nantes, Bordeaux, Lille, and Toulouse). The success of your projects will be driven by your ability to adapt and master a wide range of technical, functional, operational, and methodological skills.

You must be one of the pillars of your team, keeping in mind all the best practices for architecture, security, and automation necessary for the success of the project. As a representative of Ippon's commitment to the subjects entrusted to you, you will be required to work with our Commerce team.

Your scope:

• Establish functional and non-functional needs with business experts;
• Propose solutions in accordance with application or technological patterns and the client's security requirements;
• Take into account requirements for performance, availability (RTO, RPO, DRP…), support, or data criticality, etc.;
• Work in cooperation with infra/cloud, security, data, and developer teams to refine the solution design;
• Write the related documentation: diagrams, ADR, current architecture, and various future scenarios;
• International context: English is mandatory;
• Knowledge of the transport sector is a plus (business oriented towards transport)

From a methodological point of view, everything is part of an agile dynamic following the principles of the continuous architecture manifesto.

Technological Context

• Cloud First Strategy: AWS, Azure, and SaaS software;
• Api & API Management: Mulesoft, Kong, Open & Async API, etc.;
• Event Driven Architecture and Messaging (Solace, SQS…);
• Microservices, micro front-end with a Clean Architecture foundation;
• Connected objects;
• Application security;
• Data Integration (Airflow) and Data Science (Dataiku);
• BI & Analytics: Snowflake, Qlik Sense, DBT;
• Master Data Management Interactions with legacy systems (SAP, Oracle, EDI), and/or on-premise.

Your evolution at Ippon: As a member of a practice, you can have different roles:

• Technical Manager (MT): manager of a team of 7 Ippon engineers (onboarding, follow-ups, coaching, setting objectives, EA and EP…) You will conduct technical interviews in pairs.
• Contributor to the achievement of one or more strategic actions of the Modern Architecture CoreTeam: capitalization support, offerings, etc.
• Become a speaker at Meetups, Summits, internal Talks, at schools …
• Become a trainer and support the new generation of Ippon in their skill development. If you have other wishes, no problem, we will discuss them during our exchange and answer all your questions.

In-person or remote work? Both! Most of our clients are in hybrid mode and our teleworking policy is classic: 3 days / 2 days.

The recruitment process An HR call (15 - 20 min) Then an HR and Commerce interview so that we can discuss what you are looking for and what we can offer you (1h) Finally, a technical interview with a technical referent (2h): Case study A classic exchange where you can ask questions to the referent and get the vision of an Ippon consultant.
