Financial Controller (m/f/d) (Controller/in)

For our Bersenbrück location, we are looking for a new employee (m/f/d) who is eager to actively help shape the Finance & Controlling department.

Your Mission

In the role of Financial Controller (m/f/d), you will take on a key position for transparency and company management:

• You ensure proper and efficient financial accounting.
• You act as a Business Partner to the management and actively support company steering.
• You participate in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• You ensure compliance with legal, tax, and internal regulations.
• You work closely with internal and external partners and drive the continuous optimization of our financial processes.

Your Tasks

• Preparation of closing reporting for month, quarter, and year.
• Development of the annual plan as well as monthly forecasts together with the Managing Director.
• Close cooperation with auditors and internal auditors within your areas of responsibility.
• Establishment and further development of operational controlling to optimize our profitability.
• Establishment of a controlling approach for the shopfloor, including transparent presentation of relevant KPIs.
• Active participation in finance and process projects as part of the continuous improvement process.
• Communication at all levels – including direct exchange with the CFO in the USA.

Your Profile

• Completed studies with a focus on Finance/Controlling or comparable completed commercial training with supplementary training in controlling.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office.
• Good English skills in speaking and writing.
• Strong analytical skills, structured and solution-oriented way of working.
• High level of initiative and desire to continuously improve processes.
• Enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation and clear team orientation.
• Diligent way of working and critical, reflective thinking.
