Product Management and AI Adoption Intern

Position Summary You will support the Product Manager in product management activities for an exciting agile development effort involving a public-facing digital platform. Through this role, you will gain exposure to digital product delivery, agile practices, AI tools, and secure-by-design product development while supporting the team across requirements refinement, backlog management, testing, stakeholder coordination, and early deployment activities. Key Responsibilities Product Development Support Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements, user feedback, and product needs for the public-facing digital platform. Support agile product delivery through backlog updates, sprint tracking, user acceptance testing, issue logging, and follow-up on defects or enhancements. Prepare meeting notes, project updates, and presentation materials. Conduct research on product features, market trends, and user needs. Support project coordination with business and technical stakeholders. AI Adoption Programme Support Assist in organizing AI workshops, sharing sessions, and awareness activities. Support documentation of AI use cases, user feedback, and adoption metrics. Prepare communications and knowledge-sharing materials related to AI tools. Research emerging AI technologies and industry practices. Security Support Support the team in maintaining security and project documentation. Assist in tracking security-related action items, risks, and compliance requirements. Coordinate follow-up activities with project and IT teams when required. What You Will Learn In this role, you will: Gain hands-on exposure to agile product development for a public-facing digital platform. Learn how product managers translate business needs, user feedback, and technical constraints into product requirements and backlog items. Take part in sprint planning, testing, issue tracking, stakeholder coordination, and early deployment support. Understand how AI technology can be adopted responsibly in an organisational setting. Develop an appreciation of secure-by-design principles, governance, and compliance considerations in digital product delivery. Build practical experience working with business, product, IT, security, and vendor stakeholders. Requirements Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Interest in Product Management, AI, and Digital Innovation. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools. Knowledge of AI tools (e.g. M365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) is an advantage. Internship Period Preferred engagement period: December 2026 to July 2027. Full-time or part-time arrangements may be considered, depending on your availability and internship requirements.
