Senior Mechanical and Process Engineer

We offer comprehensive services from development to commissioning of projects, with international experience in three major areas: Energy, Water and Environment, and Industry, developing projects for energy networks, waste recovery and biomass, combined cycles and cogeneration, as well as initiatives linked to hydrogen, biogas and biomethane; hydraulic projects, water network management and environmental solutions, gas pipeline development, and other industrial innovations. We are part of VULCAIN ENGINEERING, a French international group of engineering companies with a multisectoral approach, working in the various key areas of infrastructure and energy. Currently, we are looking for a SENIOR MECHANICAL AND PROCESS ENGINEER specialized in INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS to join our team located in the Madrid office. Functions and Responsibilities: Develop detailed mechanical and process engineering for energy and infrastructure projects.

Prepare and review technical specifications, calculation reports, and engineering documentation.

Design and analyze mechanical systems, piping, static and dynamic equipment.

Participate in the preparation of process diagrams (PFD, P&ID) and mass and energy balances.

Coordinate activities with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines.

Perform technical evaluations and risk analyses associated with industrial processes.

Supervise the correct implementation of designs during the construction and commissioning stages.

Ensure compliance with technical regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements. Requirements University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields.

5 to 10 years of experience in industrial, energy, oil and gas, mining, or infrastructure projects.

Knowledge in piping design, mechanical equipment, and process systems.

Fluent English level (B2 or C1) is indispensable.

Technical leadership, project management, and teamwork skills.
