Senior Reliability Engineer (m/w/d)

What to expect:

• Responsibility for product reliability throughout the entire product lifecycle

• Execution of Design for Reliability (DfR) activities within the framework of product development and NPI

• Definition and implementation of reliability and qualification strategies

• Application of Physics of Failure (PoF), FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis to identify and reduce failure risks

• Planning and evaluation of reliability tests such as ALT, HALT/HASS, as well as environmental and stress tests

• Analysis of production, warranty, and field data using Weibull, MTBF/FIT, and statistical methods

• Close cooperation with development, production, service, quality, purchasing, and international engineering teams

Your profile:

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a comparable technical field

• Several years of professional experience in Reliability Engineering, Product Engineering, or Product Quality
• Experience with complex electromechanical, photonic, optical, laser, or industrial products

• Sound knowledge of DfR, FMEA, PoF, ALT/HALT/HASS, and Root Cause Analysis
• Experience with statistical reliability analysis and Reliability Modeling
• Knowledge of Minitab, JMP, ReliaSoft, Python, MATLAB, or comparable tools
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage
• Willingness for international travel (approx. 15 %)
