About Indus Folk Indus Folk serves fresh, healthy bowls with Indian-inspired flavors — built for speed, consistency, and everyday eating. Job Summary We're hiring a Cook for Indus Folk. What matters most is solid culinary fundamentals, consistency, and attention to detail — prior experience with Indian cuisine isn't required, as full training on our recipes and techniques is provided. High performers also get the opportunity to cross-train at Akasā, our fine-dining restaurant, to further build their skills. Responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes to recipe and plating standards Operate and maintain kitchen stations/equipment safely Learn and execute our recipes, marinades and prep methods (training provided) Check dishes for taste, temperature and presentation before service Handle daily prep — chopping, portioning, marinating — and track stock Follow food safety (HACCP) and hygiene standards
