Ingredients Production Manager (M/F)

The position:
The client is looking for an Ingredients Production Manager to supervise and guarantee the proper execution of production activities while respecting deadlines, quality, hygiene, and safety rules.
Main missions:
- Manage site production (natural ingredients, syntheses, mixtures), as well as associated packaging, reception, and storage activities.
- Organize the planning of Manufacturing Orders and ensure their communication.
- Guarantee quality compliance, reproducibility, and respect for manufacturing deadlines.
- Resolve problems related to production, packaging, and storage.
- Coordinate the In-Line Control Laboratory.
- Collaborate with R&D, Methods, and Quality teams for new launches and process improvements.
- Monitor performance indicators, analyze results, and propose corrective actions.
- Manage raw material supplies and subcontracting.
- Optimize site resources, equipment, and investments.
- Ensure the follow-up of maintenance interventions and the consideration of HSE aspects.
- Manage and develop the production team while establishing a safety and quality culture.
- Participate in audits and client visits, as well as on-call duties according to the planned schedule.
Profile sought:
Training: Engineer from a top-tier school, chemist, or chemical engineering specialist. Experience: fine chemistry, fractional distillation, production workshop management.
Skills:
- Chemical engineering / chemistry, manufacturing techniques, perfumery.
- Team management, planning, yield optimization, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Operational English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of ATEX is appreciated.
Qualities: leadership, rigor, communication, adaptability, curiosity, analytical mindset.
Context: ATEX classified factory, 3x8 shift operation, on-call duties.
An internal training period of approximately 1 year is planned.
