About the company
Business Development (Mandarin Speaker/ Penempatan Surabaya) IPEELU is seeking a proactive Business Development & Partnership Officer fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia to support business expansion, partnership acquisition, and offline retail development in Surabaya. This role combines business translation and communication with commercial development, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a results-oriented mindset.
Your tasks
- Facilitate Mandarin-Indonesian communication during business meetings and negotiations.
- Identify and develop partnerships with distributors, retailers, resellers, and other potential partners.
- Explore new offline sales and distribution opportunities.
- Conduct market visits and maintain relationships with business partners.
- Track partnership pipelines, follow up on opportunities, and prepare business reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, retail, or distribution.
- Fluent in spoken Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable conducting field visits.
- Willing to be based in Surabaya and travel locally as required.
