Software Developer (Angular & .NET)

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with strong Angular and .NET expertise to join our development and application support team in a banking environment.

You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting high-quality web applications, working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Delivery

• Develop, test, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications using Angular and .NET .
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS .
• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework .
• Work with stakeholders to understand business and system requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and development teams to deliver user stories and solutions.
• Perform unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

Code Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code.
• Conduct code reviews and follow established coding, security, and development standards.
• Apply secure coding and performance optimisation practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation.

DevOps & Continuous Improvement

• Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to improving deployment and release processes.
• Support configuration management, build automation, and system integration activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and software development practices.

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET/C# .
• At least 2 years of hands-on Angular development experience .
• Strong experience with Angular 19 or above .
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS .
• Solid experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core and/or .NET Framework .
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services .
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB , or similar.
• Good knowledge of Git and version control systems .
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices .
• Experience in frontend and backend web application development .
• Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment is preferred.

Education & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related discipline.
• Strong software development experience with a proven track record in delivering enterprise applications.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and related ecosystems.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure , or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
• Knowledge of microservices architecture .
• Experience with Agile methodologies , such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with software testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and E2E testing .
