Network Automation Engineer/ Application Developer

We are looking for a  Network Automation Engineer / Application Developer  with strong application development experience and a passion for automation. The successful candidate will work closely with the network team to develop automation solutions, monitoring capabilities, and applications that improve operational efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the network team in delivering automation initiatives, including  network provisioning, monitoring, and operational automation .
• Develop and maintain  network monitoring dashboards  to enhance visibility and monitoring capabilities.
• Manage, maintain, and enhance existing  network monitoring systems and tools .
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain applications using appropriate programming languages, databases, and technologies.
• Understand and integrate with  system APIs  and third-party/internal services.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing approved changes and improvements.
• Translate functional requirements into detailed programming logic and develop the required code.
• Perform application testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
• Develop new programs and features based on defined technical specifications.
• Provide  Business-as-Usual (BAU) support  and enhancements for existing systems.
• Participate in  24x7 on-call support  and provide after-hours support when required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Technical Skills & Experience

Candidates should possess:

• Strong proficiency in  Python and JavaScript .
• Hands-on experience with  UNIX/Linux scripting .
• Good knowledge of  SQL  and database management.
• Experience developing web applications using:
• ReactJS
• HTML
• CSS
• Experience developing and supporting applications in both  UNIX/Linux and Windows environments .
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, such as:
• TCP/IP
• SNMP
• Experience working with  APIs and system integrations .
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Minimum  Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline , or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming and application development skills.
• Good understanding of web application technologies.
• Able to work effectively both  independently and as part of a team .
• Self-driven, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Working Hours & Support

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM .
• May be required to work beyond normal office hours based on operational or project requirements.
• Night support may be required during application/network deployments.
• Participation in a  24x7 on-call support roster  may be required.
