Subsea Installation Lead Engineer
IOTA GROUP is recruiting for one of its major clients in the energy sector a Subsea Installation Lead Engineer to strengthen its teams on large-scale offshore projects. Join a demanding and international technical environment, at the heart of the challenges related to subsea installations.
Within the Subsea Installation department, you will take responsibility for installation engineering for a package or equipment as part of projects, studies, or tenders. As a technical referent, you will play a key role in the success of offshore operations, in direct contact with project teams and internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers (installation analyses, engineering, pre-commissioning, survey)
- Manage a technical package while guaranteeing quality, costs, and deadlines
- Define and validate installation methodologies adapted to the projects
- Ensure consistency between installation analyses and operational constraints
- Coordinate internal interfaces (engineering, manufacturing, purchasing…) and external ones (clients, suppliers, subcontractors)
- Prepare offshore campaigns (HIRA, logistics, equipment mobilization)
- Supervise the production of technical deliverables and ensure regular reporting
- Guarantee compliance with QHSE standards and documentary quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement and propose innovative solutions
- Participate in offshore phases (vessel mobilization and operations at sea)
- Engineering degree (Master's level), ideally specialized in offshore or naval architecture
- Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore installation / operations
- Proven experience as a Lead Installation Engineer (ideally)
- Solid knowledge of offshore installation operations
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills and multicultural environment experience
- Natural leadership and ability to transmit your expertise
- Valid BOSIET required
- Fluent English indispensable (written and oral)
Location: Paris Start date: ASAP (no later than May 4th) Mobility required for offshore interventions (rotations to be expected – details to be communicated later) Duration: 1 year International environment
