Commissioning Manager

Main Goals Represent our client for all commissioning activities on site. Lead the commissioning team through Ready for Commissioning (RFC), Energization and Final Handover. Ensure safe execution in accordance with the client Zero Harm philosophy. Coordinate all commissioning interfaces with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC and the Customer. Deliver fully tested and operational substations in compliance with contractual and technical requirements Deliverables: Develop and implement the overall commissioning strategy and execution plan. Coordinate all commissioning disciplines, including HV Primary Equipment, Protection & Control, SCADA, Telecom and AC/DC auxiliary systems. Prepare and manage commissioning schedules, resource plans and mobilization plans. Review commissioning procedures, test forms, method statements and switching programs. Verify Electrical Completion (EC) and Ready for Commissioning (RFC) status before testing. Coordinate interfaces with the Construction and Engineering teams. Manage subcontractors, vendor specialists and commissioning engineers. Coordinate SAT, functional testing, interlocking tests and system integration. Lead energization activities in coordination with the Customer and Grid Operator. Monitor commissioning progress, KPIs, punch lists, NCRs and corrective actions. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly commissioning reports. Ensure full compliance with Siemens Energy HSE, QA/QC and commissioning procedures. Coordinate final documentation, as-built records and project handover Direct Report: The Commissioning Manager reports directly to the Site Director/manager while maintaining close coordination with the HV and LV Manages, QA/QC Manager, EHS Manager

Minimum 15 years of experience in HV substation commissioning. Extensive experience on 132–330 kV AIS/GIS EPC projects. Strong knowledge of HV Primary Equipment, Protection & Control, SCADA and AC/DC systems. Knowledge of IEC standards, grid codes and commissioning procedures. Proven leadership and multidisciplinary team management experience. English mandatory
