Area of Responsibility

Jira and Confluence Automation: Creating, testing, and maintaining automated workflows between Confluence and Jira (e.g., automatic creation, forwarding, and updating of tickets based on documentation triggers).

Integration of AI Tools: Implementing and testing AI tools to automate daily administrative and operational team tasks.

Jira Ticket Management: Monitoring the review, cleaning, refinement, and structured creation of Jira tickets to keep project backlogs correct and clear.

Workflow Optimization: Identifying manual bottlenecks in team processes and writing scripts or using automation tools to optimize them.

Qualifications

Student Status: Currently enrolled as a full-time Master's student (ideally in the fields of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field).

Availability: Available for [e.g., 15–20] hours per week during the semester (flexible working hours during exam periods).

Technical Skills: Sound programming and scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, REST-APIs) as well as experience in writing code to automate workflows or integrate tools.

Knowledge in AI and Automation: Practical experience or sound knowledge in handling AI tools (e.g., LLM-APIs, Prompt Engineering, AI agents) and modern automation platforms.

Attitude and Working Style: High resilience and independence, as well as a proactive "learning by doing" attitude when testing, debugging, and implementing new technical solutions.

Tool Knowledge: Practical experience with the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira and Confluence workflows) and Google Workspace.

Languages: Excellent English skills are a must; basic or conversational knowledge of German is an advantage.
